Product/Research Description

The award winning Edinburgh site boasts two Manufacturing Centres of Excellence, a Microelectronics Centre of Excellence and a Laser Centre of Excellence, both of which demonstrate the company’s world leading technology which is at the forefront of the global military laser and airborne radar markets. Current activity includes: – design and development of the Laser for the Electro Optical Targeting Systems (EOTS) of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, development and manufacture of the CAPTOR radar for Eurofighter Typhoon, development of the next generation active electronically scanned array radars and manufacture of the pointer tracker for the Northrop Grumman Nemesis Directional Infrared Counter Measure system.
