Scottish Optoelectronics Association
The Scottish Optoelectronics Association (SOA) was launched in October 1994 with the objective of "stimulating economic growth in Scotland through the knowledge, manufacture and application of Optoelectronics."
Over 85 organisations have become members of the Association since its launch comprising companies, universities and research organisations all of whom have an interest in developing the optoelectronics industry in Scotland.

Scottish Optoelectronics at Laser World of Photonics
Scottish Optoelectronics was well represented at Laser World of Photonics 2009 Exhibition between 15th & 18th June. The Stand was financed by Scottish Development International and hosted SOA and 7 Scottish companies.

ACCORD at Laser World of Photonics 2009
The ACCORD Project was present on the EPIC stand at the Laser World of Photonics International Trade Fair in the New Munich Trade Centre, Munich from 15th to 18th June.

Fibre Photonics at Chemspec Europe
Fibre Photonics will be at the Scottish Pavilion (H32) at Chemspec Europe, Barcelona.
Wednesday 17 June 09.30 – 17.00 and
Thursday 18 June 09.30 – 16.00
From 17-18 June 2009 Fibre Photonics will demonstrate its Transflection and ATR fibre optic immersion probes at Chemspec (stand H32).
